Progress on what matters to you:
- Ongoing stong advocacy for local healthcare services: Urgent Care at Douglas Memorial inlcuding other health care services that we deserve and are vital to our well being!
- Maintain Fort Erie’s independence and local decision-making: No amalagamation!
- Investment in and maintenence of roads, ditching, sidewalks and parks.
- Recognize, protect and promote our community’s architectural and cultural heritage, preserving the places, stories and traditions that make Crystal Beach and Ridgeway unique while ensuring they remain part of our community’s future.
- Improved regular staff maintanence of public spaces, such as snow plowing, street sweeping etc. keeping our comminty clean and welcoming.
- Increased availability and better use of the Crystal Ridge Community Centre. More activities/amenities for people of all ages.
- Continuing responsible taxation focusing on delivering services and investing in future generations.
- Traffic calming a priority to get people to slow down and include increased police presence.
- Increase access to waterfront.
- Development is inevitable, and must include local input in all decisions. Housing policy must continue to include affordable and attainable housing.
- Continued support for business and economic development/tourism.
- Increase awareness and adherence of by-laws such as property standards, noise & nuisance.
- Environment stewardship must remain a focus.
