- E-transfer to electtomlewis@gmail.com When making a donation, please include your full legal name, address, and telephone number in your message. This is necessary in post-campaign election reporting;
- Call (289) 599-1717 to provide your information personally. If the call is unanswered (i.e. we are out canvassing) answer leave a message with your contact information.
Who can contribute
- Individuals who are residents of Ontario can contribute to a municipal election or school board campaign in Ontario.
Who cannot contribute
- A corporation, limited company or similar legal private business entity;
- A trade union;
- Charitable organizations or hospitals;
- An individual who is not normally resident in Ontario;
- A federal or provincial political party, constituency association, or a registered candidate in a federal election;
- The federal or provincial government, a municipality or a school board.
- There is a $1,200 Cdn limit that applies to contributions from individuals. If a person makes more than one contribution (for example, contributes money, contributes goods, and purchases a ticket to a fundraising event), the total value of all the contributions cannot exceed $1,200;
- The maximum total amount a contributor can give to candidates in the same jurisdiction (for example, running for the same council or for the same school board) is $5,000;
- Contributions in cash are limited to $25 or less.
